Sunday Worship
9:00 AM – Holy Eucharist with Music

Indoors and Live Streamed via Zoom. To learn more about “zooming-in” to our live stream of this Sunday’s service, please contact us: info@ststeph.com so we may send information and a link to you.

(Holy Days – as announced)

We invite you to worship with us every Sunday at 9:00 AM. Our service follows a traditional style. We use the Book of Common Prayer: Holy Eucharist Rite II, following notations for liturgical seasons.

Our 9:00 AM service has musical accompaniment from our choir and organist, and lasts for about an hour. We primarily use the 1984 Hymnal, but we also use hymnal supplements and various other Hymnals.

We celebrate the Holy Eucharist at every service. Both bread and wine are offered, but it’s perfectly fine to receive only one element and not the other. Communion is distributed at the communion rail, where people may stand or kneel to receive. We also have gluten-free bread for those who cannot tolerate wheat. Simply ask an usher on Sunday morning if you need this alternative.

All our Sunday services are followed by fellowship in our beloved Fay Hall. Fellowship with our church family is a vibrant part of our congregation, and we invite you to join us!

Several years ago, the Vestry adopted inclement weather protocol for announcing the cancellation of parish events and services. In the event of inclement weather or the forecast of impending severe weather, the Rector, in consultation with the Wardens, may cancel or delay services or events. Cancellations or delays will be announced through Boston’s Channel 5 (WCVB-TV) and Worcester-based radio station WSRS 96.1. Links to these stations listings of closings are below:
