St. Stephen’s Awards E. Marion Wile Scholarships

Five of our student-parishioners were awarded a scholarship for the 2022-23 academic year from our E. Marion Wile Scholarship Fund on Pentecost Sunday.

They are: Emma Meek, attending UMASS, Amherst; her brother Matthew, attending Union College, Schenectady, NY; Brendan Regan, attending UMASS, Boston; his sister, Elana, attending Brandeis University, Waltham and his brother Matthew, attending Hofstra University, Hempstead, NY.

Gale McKenzie presented the awards on behalf of the scholarship committee (Gale Mckenzie, Deanne Yankee and Bev Boyer) and Brendan was presented with the traditional blanket from St. Stephen's given to high school graduates. Pictured here are the recipients and their parents with Gale and Mary.

Give to St. Stephen's

St. Stephen’s receives regular pledged offerings, as well as weekly “loose plate offerings” and gifts. Pledged and loose plate monies all go towards the St. Stephen’s annual operating budget which covers the cost of operating our church: building, staff, programs and charities St. Stephen’s supports. Some gifts to the church have specific designations, and go towards specific items such as music, flowers, a memorial gift, or in support of one of our programs. We are always thankful for the support of others.
