The Parish Quiet Day on July 14 provided parishioners with an opportunity to break away from the busy-ness of life and join others in a day of quiet reflection. We began in the chapel where we centered our minds and hearts in prayer and then moved outside to walk the labyrinth, quietly centering on our own reflections and prayers. From there we moved inside and did some ‘spiritual coloring’ while we silently prayed. Then we moved into the sanctuary to focus on our own individual spiritual journeys and reflect on how we came to be where we are today. Our day ended in prayer, and we returned home, refreshed and grateful for this respite from our normal daily routines.
