What is Faith Alive?

Faith Alive draws men, women and teens from Episcopal churches near and far to form a team, to come to your church to serve as facilitators, teen and children's leaders and musicians; to share their experiences within Christian community. Prepared and encouraged through a structured Faith Alive program that has blessed some 2,400 churches since 1970, the team members come to your church at their own expense to share how their lives are refreshed by a conscious commitment to follow Jesus Christ as Lord. Faith Alive Weekends are held in Episcopal churches in the USA and Anglican churches in Canada and the Bahamas.

Prayer for the upcoming weekend

O Lord our Loving and gracious God, we thank you for the opportunity of having a Faith Alive weekend at our church this October. We ask your Spirit to be with us, to guide us and empower us as we prepare for the weekend. Bless the efforts of the various committees and members as they plan and organize their activities. Stir up within every member of our church, the zeal to work for you, be united in our love for you and for each other.

We ask you to be with the visitors to guide them as they prepare for the weekend. Grant that we may truly experience your Spirit working amongst us to be your faithful disciples, seeking to do your will in this world.

All this we ask in Jesus name.
