The Program

Education for Ministry (EFM) is a program of theological learning at a distance. Sponsored by the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, it is a four year program which instructs students under the direction of a trained mentor in Biblical studies, Theology, Liturgy and Church history. Students sign up, however, for one year at a time.

By virtue of our baptisms we are called to minister in this world. EFM gives the student the training and academic skills to minister effectively.

Opportunities

Unfortunately we were unable to raise sufficient numbers of interested participants in 2006, so this program has been deferred until next year.
